First off, congrats on being in the final semester of your Masters! :)
ReplyDeleteI also really enjoy horror novels - and serial killers!!! I don't know what it is about it, but something them just keeps me so engrossed. lol We definitely differ one thing though - I really dislike Stephen King's writing. I like the stories, but I can't get into his writing style. :( I've tried and tried, but can't do it.
I'm really looking forward to this class and seeing how everyone's tastes vary and overlap. I'm also excited to learn about new-to-me authors and series (also a fan of series here!!!). :)

ReplyDeleteI am also on my last semester of the program, so CONGRATULATIONS! It really is a wonderful feeling to see the light at the end of the tunnel. You and I seem to have similar taste in books. I also love serial killer books. There is just something about them that is so gripping and fascinating. Its like a train wreck, you just cant help but watch and be interested.
I have not read the Dexter series myself but I loved the show (until the ending, which I thought was dumb). Its on my list of books to read. That is one of the things I am most excited about after I graduate is that I will be able to read books again for fun rather then for school. I look forward to working with you this semester and I hope to see you at Graduation!
Great reading profile, full points! There is something to be said about book series, they're like TV shows but better. I love having characters I love show up in books again and again!
